Project Manager, Enterprise Solutions

Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Project Manager to join our Enterprise Solutions department.

Reporting to the Professional Services Manager of Enterprise Solutions, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering client‑facing Professional Services projects of small to medium complexity. This role supports successful project outcomes by managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality while working collaboratively with clients, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders in alignment with contractual commitments and Esri Canada delivery standards.

This role will be based remotely in Canada.

A Day in the Life of a Project Manager at Esri Canada: 

 

  • Plan and deliver assigned Professional Services projects from initiation through close‑out, following established project management practices and delivery standards.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources for defined work packages or full projects of moderate complexity.
  • Coordinate project activities and task assignments across consultants, analysts, and technical resources within a matrix delivery environment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalating as required.
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, financial tracking, and status reporting to support transparency and control.
  • Support stakeholder communications by providing regular updates, facilitating meetings, and managing expectations under guidance as needed.
  • Apply quality management practices to ensure project deliverables meet agreed requirements and standards.
  • Contribute to project scoping, estimating, and planning activities for new or change initiatives, with guidance from senior project managers.

 

 

What you bring to the team: 

 

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or project management within a consulting, professional services, or technology delivery environment.
  • Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, GIS, or a related field.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Proven ability to apply standard project management methodologies, tools, and processes in a structured delivery environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify issues and support resolution.
  • Working knowledge of project financial tracking, including budgets, forecasts, and change control.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions

 

 

Bonus points for this position:

 

  • Working towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent formal project management training is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English / French) is considered an asset.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

At Esri Canada, we are committed to fair and competitive compensation. This role offers a base salary range of $86,900 to $110,000 annually, determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
