Manager, Solutions Analysis

Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for a Manager of Solutions Analysis to join our Assessment department.

Reporting to the Professional Services Manager of Assessment, the Manager, Solution Analysis plays a critical role in the successful delivery of Esri Canada’s Assessment Analyst: Geographic‑Assisted Mass Appraisal (AA GAMA) solution within the Professional Services Assessment practice. This role leads a team of Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) responsible for requirements discovery, solution analysis, and process alignment across complex, client‑facing GAMA implementations.

Leveraging deep Assessment and CAMA domain expertise, the Manager, Solution Analysis establishes consistent analysis standards, ensures high‑quality and repeatable delivery, and provides hands‑on solution guidance to clients and project teams. This role works closely with Project Managers, technical teams, and the Product Business Unit to ensure implementations align with client needs, regulatory requirements, and product capabilities, while contributing input to departmental priorities and continuous improvement initiatives. Travel is required.

This role will be based remotely in Canada.

A Day in the Life of a Manager, Solutions Analysis at Esri Canada: 

  • Lead and oversee business analysis activities across AA GAMA implementation projects, including requirements discovery, process mapping, solution design, and validation.
  • Establish, maintain, and apply standardized analysis methodologies, templates, and quality standards to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery.
  • Apply deep Assessment and CAMA domain expertise to guide solution configuration and ensure alignment with legislation, valuation practices, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Provide people leadership to a team of Business Analysts and SMEs, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and ongoing capability development.
  • Allocate and manage analysis resources across multiple concurrent projects to support project delivery commitments and team development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, facilitating workshops and working sessions and clearly communicating solution impacts, risks, and dependencies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Professional Services and the Product Business Unit, ensuring client and industry input informs product direction and release readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance analysis practices, reusable assets, and overall delivery effectiveness.

 

What you bring to the team: 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the Assessment industry, including CAMA systems, valuation workflows, or property assessment.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership or management experience, leading specialized analysis or subject‑matter teams.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business analysis, GIS, public administration, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Deep working knowledge of Assessment and CAMA environments, including legislation interpretation, valuation practices, assessment data models, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance people leadership responsibilities with hands‑on subject‑matter contribution in a professional services or implementation context.
  • Proven capability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and manage complex stakeholder relationships, including collaboration with Project Managers, technical teams, and Product business units.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements and client workflows into practical, scalable solution approaches.
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement in analysis practices, methodologies, and delivery standards within a project‑driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and internationally, as required.
  • Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support.

  • Bilingual proficiency (English / French) considered an asset.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

At Esri Canada, we are committed to fair and competitive compensation. This role offers a base salary range of $ 100,776 to $ 127,900 annually and additional commission/incentive, determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
