Account Manager, Pacific Region
Esri Canada has an exceptional opportunity for an Account Manager to join our Pacific Sales.
Reporting to the Region Director, this role is responsible for independently managing an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, owning sales execution, revenue performance, and customer relationships. Working under general direction within a defined framework of accountability, this role develops account plans, identifies and closes sales opportunities, and positions Esri Canada’s software, professional services, and training solutions to meet customer business needs.
This role is fully remote within the Pacific Region.

A Day in the Life of an Account Manager at Esri Canada:
- Develop and execute account plans for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts to achieve individual sales quota and revenue objectives.
- Independently manage customer relationships, building a solid understanding of customer business priorities, decision‑making structures, and needs.
- Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, social selling, networking, and targeted account outreach to build and advance a qualified sales pipeline.
- Exercise judgment and discretion in responding to complex customer requirements and sales situations within an established framework of accountability.
- Act as the primary sales point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinating internal resources to support customer objectives.
- Lead responses to RFPs, proposals, and customer requests, coordinating contributions from Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and other internal teams as required.
- Communicate solution value clearly and effectively, tailoring messaging to customer audiences and decision‑makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account information in Salesforce to support sales planning and performance management.
What you bring to the team:
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in GIS, Geography, Business, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a customer‑facing role involving solution‑based selling.
- Demonstrated experience managing customer accounts and closing sales opportunities.
- Experience selling technology, software, or GIS‑related solutions is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage customer relationships and sales outcomes.
- Proven experience translating customer business needs into solution‑based recommendations.
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills across a range of customer audiences.
- Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence customer decision‑making.
- Demonstrated organizational, forecasting, and time‑management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams.
- Demonstrated ability to use Salesforce or similar CRM tools effectively to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account activity.
- Bilingual proficiency (English / French) is considered an asset.
- Experience in Land Management, Permitting, Asset Management Systems, Public Safety and / or Government Transportation
- Fluency in English is essential, as this role requires regular client communication and support in English-speaking regions
Compensation & Benefits:
At Esri Canada, we are committed to fair and competitive compensation. This role offers a base salary range of $76,000 to $103,200 annually and additional incentive, determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries and levels to ensure we remain competitive in the market.
